The Mechanix Wear arc flash suit is built with arc-rated PYRAD® by GORE-TEX LABS. This fabric is an incredible combination of lightweight and highly breathable material, with extraordinary arc flash protective qualities in a single ply.  During an arc exposure, it blocks heat flow while the fabric forms a carbonaceous char – stopping the spread and transmission of flames and reducing heat transfer to skin.

Our arc flash suit featuring arc-rated PYRAD® by GORE-TEX LABS offers:

  • The lightest weight 40 cal/cm2 arc protection below 10 oz./yd2 
  • The highest arc rating per fabric weight ratio
